Part of the skin's own natural moisturising factor. In a cream it works as a humectant, drawing in water and helping the skin's outer layer hold on to it.
Low strengths of urea (about 2 to 10%) are used mainly to moisturise and support the skin barrier, while higher strengths soften thick, scaly skin. At 2%, this cream sits at the gentle, moisturising end.
01Apply a thin layer to clean skin once or twice a day, ideally soon after washing while the skin is still slightly damp.

Read the studyThese studies tested urea in other creams, not LARSA's Urea cream 2% itself.
